My name is Brooklan and I am the founder of RykFit, a dedicated wife, mother, and advocate for the power of exercise to help with a positive mindset, enhance mental well-being, and achieve personal goals.

OUR STORY

In 2022, my family and I embarked on a journey across our beautiful country in our caravan. At that time, with only one child and being six months postpartum, I encountered challenges such as knee pain, weak glutes, and a sore lower back. Reflecting on my postpartum journey from 10 weeks postnatal I was exercising without consideration for my recent childbirth. I had overlooked the importance of rebuilding my pelvic floor and building strength back into my body that had just supported me through 9 months of pregnancy.

Recognising the significance of postnatal recovery, during our trip I decided to pursue further education, with a focus on pre and postnatal fitness, as well as supporting women through menopause.

Several years later, our family has grown to a family of 4. I’ve had such a great experience with exercise this time around and I want to share that with as many women as possible.   We have established a private studio in the South West region of WA dedicated to providing women empowerment, understanding and education on a safe approach to achieving their fitness goals, no matter what stage in life they are in.
